Our office doors were flung open again as we welcomed Margo Price to Songkick Live for an extra special, intimate performance.
The country star has been blazing a trail through the fall, selling out shows in New York and Nashville, adorning a gigantic feature in the New York Times and netting glowing reviews from Pitchfork, The Guardian and beyond. Margo’s pull-no-punches songwriting is resonating with music fans across the globe (us included), and we were ridiculously lucky to catch a brief, special moment with her and her band.
With our New York office packed to the brim with lovely Songkick users, we were treated to a soul-melting set of new material — Margo’s glorious new record ‘All American Made’ having landed just days beforehand.
With the lights low, beers iced and sliders hot (but not Nashville hot, as the artist points out), some of Margo’s biggest fans got the unique chance to see her perform in intimate surrounds, quiz her about the new record and grab a polaroid together after the show. It was so special to see the Songkick community connecting with their favorite artist in such a real and meaningful way! We were pretty much lost for words —so thanks so much to Margo and to everyone who came down!
