Detour London Off & Running

On Monday night, over 1000 fans descended upon the Electric Ballroom in Camden to witness something pretty special. An entire decade since the release of ‘Read Music/Speak Spanish’, Desaparecidos crossed the Atlantic to play their first ever London show. And the fans had made it happen.

Back in December, with the launch of our crowdfunding platform Detour London, and with help from DrownedInSound, it took just 48 hours for fans to build sufficient demand for Conor Oberst and co. to pack up their gear and book their plane tickets. And here are the results. A super-loud, passionate and frenzied Monday night, 10 years in the making.
