Shirt Up

Thanks to BBC 6Music, it’s national Wear-Your-Old-Band-Tshirt-To-Work Day! Team Songkick have dug deep into the dark corners of their closets to sport these musty beauties.

Aaron has gone with a bonafide classic, the Velvet Underground banana. He says he bought the t-shirt because it was cheaper than doing laundry, and that it earned him a compliment from a crazy person in the street.

Meanwhile, Shy has been flaunting his barista skills in this contemporary get-up from Alabama Shakes. He came into work wearing something totally different because the shirt is too dirty to wear in public.

Jamie saw Morain support Motion City Soundtrack in Manchester and purchased this navy T on the spot. One thing you should know about Jamie; he loves having his picture taken.

On the other side of the office, Niko is pushing the boundaries with this angsty little number from Welsh post-hardcore 90s trio Mclusky.

And who’s this striking an awkward lean against the press wall? That’d be me, rocking a TV On The Radio shirt from FIB ’09. The last ‘O’ is missing, so it reads TV On The Radi, but I didn’t realise until I was back in the UK. Quality control, people!

Tell us about your favorite band t-shirt!
