Going to the chapel…

It’s always flattering to have people saying nice things about us, and as the word about Songkick spreads further we’ve loved seeing pink appreciation popping up in increasingly random places. This week, we had a nice surprise waiting for us on Monday morning when we got this Tweet:

‘@songkick Our wedding cake had some of our favourite badges on it. Spot yours!’

So awesome to be a part of someone’s big day. Plus, the story behind it is enough to make any music lover go awww:

“My husband and I are really big music fans and met at a gig (at Cafe OTO), we still go to lots of gigs and it was a thing with us that he would buy or get me badges at gigs when they had them. He proposed at a picnic by saying to me that he’d gotten me some badges, he started giving them to me with the words “you”, “me”, “will”, “?” and “marry”. This is why it made complete sense that our wedding cake would be covered in some of our favourite badges!”

Which got us thinking…we’ve sent out a lot of stickers, badges and t-shirts over the past couple years – and we want to know where you’ve been putting them/wearing them!
