Songkick’s Day Out 2.0

Last week the Songkick team closed their MacBooks, relinquished their ping-pong paddles and prised their hands off the espresso machine to hit the streets of London for our quarterly day out. We had a lot to celebrate after an epic few months, so instead of the usual pint down the pub it was time from us to abandon Shoreditch pastures and reach for the sky…

First up – a champagne Brunch at The Garrison, London Bridge. Supposedly, it’s acceptable to drink before midday when supplemented with poached eggs.

Next stop, the Thames Clipper to the O2 in the (totally unprecedented) sunshine.

Then it was ‘Up At The O2‘ – a walkway over one of Britain’s biggest and most iconic live music venues. The view was totally awesome, and getting kitted up in jumpsuits felt uncannily like the launch scene from Armageddon.

Dodging the rain by a matter of seconds, it was then into taxis and over to Shoreditch for a whiskey tasting and five course dinner (in a secret dining room in the back of a clothes shop!) courtesy of Disappearing Dining Club. Yum.

If you fancy joining the Songkick team in time for our next quarterly away-day, be sure to check out our jobs page. Over and out!
