Don’t Miss: Passion Pit, Bat For Lashes & more on sale today!

Hold the phone. It’s Friday. Which can only mean one thing… Our handpicked selection of the hottest new shows announced this week. And guess what, they’re all on sale this morning (June 15th).

CHICAGO

Passion Pit / House Of Blues / August 2nd

Brooklynites Passion Pit have stormed back into the limelight this summer with stomping new tracks Take A Walk and It’ll Be Alright, and in the blink of an eye have 41 shows scheduled for the months ahead. With a sophomore album on the cards for July, the rise and rise of Passion Pit shows no signs of stopping. News broke this week of a Lollapalooza warm-up at Chicago’s House Of Blues. Support comes from Givers and Kishi Bashi, and tickets go on sale today. We’re sat to catch these guys live at Governor’s Ball festival next weekend. Very excited.

Tune-Yards & Washed Out / House Of Blues / August 3rd

Continuing the Lollapalooza buzz, Tune-Yards and Washed Out will take to the House Of Blues stage for an epic after-show double-billing. What we’d give to be in the Windy City that weekend. Tickets hit the online shelves today, so be on your marks.

NEW YORK

The Rapture / Music Hall Of Williamsburg / September 5th, 6th & 7th

Three whole evenings have been set aside for The Rapture to raze New York to the ground. The W.A.Y.U.H rockers have lined up a trio of homecoming shows at the Music Hall of Williamsburg for September on the back of their third LP ‘In The Grace Of Your Love’. Interesting fact; the guy on the album artwork is the father of front man Luke Jenner. Neat. Tickets go on sale for all three shows today, don’t miss out.

Animal Collective / Williamsburg Park / October 5th

All great things come in twos. Or at least, they do in this case, as Williamsburg will also play host to psychedelic pioneers Animal Collective this fall. New album ‘Centipede Hz’ is set to break this year, and we’re unashamedly desperate to hear ‘Merriweather Post Pavillion’ material all over again. On sale today!

LONDON

Bat For Lashes / HMV Forum / October 29th

Last on our list, but certainly not least, is the highly anticipated live comeback of Natasha Khan, aka Bat For Lashes. ‘Fur & Gold’ and ‘Two Suns’ both made the Mercury Prize shortlist, so there’s huge expectation awaiting third LP ‘The Haunted Man’. It’s been over two years since her last London performance, so be warned, tickets will get gobbled up rather quickly for the HMV Forum show in October. Credit cards at the ready!
