“If this is your first ever concert, it’s all downhill from here.”

The words of Kanye West, as he and Jay-Z brought the third of five London shows to a close on Sunday. And it’s hard to argue; over the weekend a total of 100,000 fans – including four of us here at Songkick – made the pilgrimage to the O2 arena and were treated to something pretty extraordinary. Podiums, fireballs, a surprise cameo from Rihanna and a six-time encore of Ni**as In Paris, not to mention two-and-a-half hours of relentless hits.
