Introducing the ‘Amplify’ Tumblr Theme feat. Songkick Concerts

A new theme for Tumblr has taken artist blogging to a whole new level. Created by William Rainbird, ‘Amplify’ allows artists to integrate their Tumblr page with an awesome selection of third party apps, including Songkick!

Alongside day-to-day blog posts, artists can now display all their upcoming events as they appear on Songkick, making it even easier to make sure their fans never miss a show.

Also playing host to the likes of Bandcamp, Soundcloud and Big Cartel, Amplify has made Tumblr a one-stop-shop for all your online artist needs.

Once you’ve purchased the theme, simply copy your artist ID and put it into the Songkick Artist ID field. The artist ID can be found in the url of your artist’s upcoming shows on Songkick. For example, Radiohead’s songkick page is www.songkick.com/artists/253846-radiohead, therefore their artist ID is 253846.

If you don’t have any events on Songkick, you can add them for free and get an artist ID. For more info on using Songkick as an artist, check out this FAQ.
