Songkick powers Foursquare event check-ins

Songkick is pretty light on office politics; we don’t do TPS reports, no one steals my Swingline, and most heated discussions revolve around the fusball table. One battle, however, rages day in and day out – the battle to be mayor of Songkick HQ!

We’re huge fans of Foursquare and that’s why we’re proud to announce they’ve joined our growing list of prestigious API partners. From today, thanks to Songkick’s huge database of upcoming events, you’ll be able to check in to concerts on Foursquare. This adds a whole new dimension to check-ins; rather than just seeing your friends check-in to Madison Square Garden, now you’ll also be able to see that they are there watching Justin Bieber (we don’t judge!).
