Big Boi, Aretha and The Black Keys using our FB app? LIKE.

Usually we’re the ones offering a thumbs-up to talented artists, so it is incredibly flattering when those artists like us in return. We’re excited to now have hundreds of artists using our Facebook app, which automatically pulls their tour dates to Facebook so fans can find out about concert dates, buy tickets and share them within Facebook.

So if you’re an artist using Facebook (who’s not these days?!), and want to join the likes of Aretha Franklin as a Songkick app user to effortlessly tell your fans about upcoming shows, just head to:

Along with Miss R-E-S-P-E-C-T, here are some of the other artists that are using the Songkick Concert app, and which shows we would love to see from them this summer…

The Black Keys

It’s been a big year for The Black Keys so far and with a lot of tour dates still left on the calendar, we bet their end-of-summer gig at Outside Lands fest in San Francisco will be a glorious end to a good run on the road.

Plan B

Hands down, we want to see Plan B at Glastonbury. The fest kicks off June 22nd so get your wellies ready.

Big Boi

We caught Big Boi’s set at the Foursquare party at SXSW and, boy, was it worth the long queue. He is back in Austin, TX, this September of Austin City Limits Festival and we would stand all day in the hot Texas sun to catch another set.

Diamond Rings

After touring with Robyn last year, Diamond Rings (that is, John O) is now headlining gigs. We’d love to catch the glam rock scene at the upcoming Brooklyn show.

Taking Back Sunday

These New York rockers have a jam-packed tour schedule these next few months, with support from Thursday, Colour Revolt, The New Regime and We are the In Crowd. We bet the band’s show in downtown Manhattan at the new Best Buy Theater will be a highlight of the tour.

Ellie Goulding

Just last month Ellie performed at the Royal Wedding. Where do you go from there?

Kanrocksas, that’s where.

Strangest festival name we’ve seen in awhile, but also one of the best line-ups.

Iron & Wine

Everyone in the office is excited about two shows that were just announced in London, including a solo show at Hackney Empire on October 9th with Markéta Irglová of The Swell Season.

Lykke Li

How cool would it be to catch his Swedish songstress in her home territory? Peace & Love 2011 is the perfect opportunity for that.
