Say hello to another new Songkick team member!

As mentioned last week, the Songkick team has been growing recently and in the coming months there’s going to be lots more faces to add to this lovely bunch (want to be one of them? – check out our jobs page!). Tell us a little bit about yourself

I live in the San Francisco Bay Area and it has a great live music scene: notable venues from the Fillmore to Golden Gate Park; significant history from the Grateful Dead to Bill Graham.  But did you know it has some of the best tribute bands in the world?  I recommend checking out Stung, Foreverland, AC/DShe, or Little B******.  Good times.

What was the first concert you went to (that you’re not embarrassed to share..)

Van Halen

Any particularly awesome/interesting concert memories/stories to tell?

I saw U2 on St. Patricks Day at the former Boston Garden.  A confluence of forces that appealed to me by way of my family’s Irish ancestry.  That and the green beer.

What upcoming concerts/festivals are you looking forward to – any recommendations?

Public Enemy…show ‘em whatcha got.
