New partnership with Warner Music Group!
It’s been a busy week here at Songkick HQ, they say things come in threes and that’s sure true for us at the moment! First up was a really exciting profile in the New York Times (even the luddite parents know this is a big deal!)…
…second was a lovely write up in the Guardian, and lastly, things have been rounded off with a new partnership announcement with Warner Music Group (full press release below).
The integration will have Songkick concert dates featuring across WMG’s artist websites, Facebook pages and mobile. As our very own Ian says, “With this relationship, Songkick and Warner Music Group are teaming up to make things easier for artists and better for the fans who want to see them perform live.”
We’re really chuffed to be working with WMG and their great roster of artists, and hope that both the fans and the artists will find it a useful integration!
Taking Back Sunday are one of the first bands to integrate the data with the Songkick Concerts app on their Facebook page:
The band are about to kick off a massive tour starting with the UK and then embarking on the US from June. You can check out all of their dates here, tickets are on sale now!

PRESS RELEASE
LONDON–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Songkick, the company that helps music fans keep track of their favorite artists’ tours, today announced a partnership to integrate Songkick concert dates and information on Warner Music Group’s (NYSE:WMG - News) artist websites. The partnership will use Songkick’s comprehensive database of concerts to automatically maintain tour dates, update concert and venue information and offer up-to-the-minute ticket buy links on WMG’s artist websites.
“Touring is an important part of an artist’s career. By automatically updating artist websites with the latest concert and ticket information, Songkick is taking the onus off those who maintain websites, allowing them instead to spend more time focusing on their art,” said Songkick CEO and co-founder Ian Hogarth. “With this relationship, Songkick and Warner Music Group are teaming up to make things easier for artists and better for the fans who want to see them perform live.”
WMG will use Songkick’s concert data to power artist’s websites, mobile websites and apps beginning with those artists signed to Atlantic Records and Warner Bros. Records.
