Another week, another load of great contributions to share with you… There’s Morrissey setlists galore, more awesome reviews from BrunoMac and a variety of ticket stubs to browse through courtesy of duanos00. Here’s the leader-boards for this week and a selection of some particularly interesting additions:

Setlists

1. mellowdoubt – 26
2. duanos00 – 18
3. iheartmusic – 14

So as mentioned, there’s an abundance of Morrissey setlists from mellowdoubt, including this 2006 one from Alexandra Palace:

duanos00 added the setlist from last Fridays Sonic Youth gig as well as a load of Smashing Pumpkins ones, including this one from the 1992 Reading Festival. While iheartmusic has also added some physical setlists, such as this one from a 2002 Something Corporate gig:

Reviews

1. BrunoMac – 15
2. iheartmusic – 3
3. seweika – 2

It’s, sadly, been fairly quiet on the review front this week – but BrunoMac has continued to add more priceless short but sweet anecdotes of his past gig experiences:

Happy Mondays at Wembley Arena:

“The Mondays’ performances were so unrecognisably shambolic that the person behind us shouting for ‘Mad Cyril’ continued to do so even after they’d played it. The tickets were competition prizes so we didn’t care.

Can’t remember 808 State being there, but MC Buzz B was, and he was utterly, pathetically crap.”

Queen at Knebworth, 1989:

“All of Queen’s set bar Brian May’s guitar solo was amazing; in particular, 120,000 pairs of hands doing the ‘Radio Ga Ga’ clapping and, afterwards, rounding a corner to see thousands of people swarming down a hillside.

God knows what Belouis Some (the opener) was doing on the same bill as Queen and Status Quo. He was crap and hid behind his backing singers when bottles started flying. Quo were alright and Big Country were pretty good.”

duanos00 has added a ton of ticket stubs ranging from Glasvegas to Dinosaur Jr, which we love to see. He’s also added shots of some of his festival wristbands, including this one from Latitude, 2008:

Amy.Louise93, who just joined last week, has shared loads of pictures from a recent Papa Roach concert in Sheffield:

While iheartmusic has added the cream of the crop from recent New York shows, including Lightspeed Champion in a full-on wizard outfit:

Posters

1. duanos00 – 60
2. mellowdoubt/iheartmusic – 8
3. Lottepayne – 2

There’s more Smashing Pumpkins memorabilia from duanos00 when it comes to the posters, such as this 1989 one:

And loads to browse through from both Mellowdoubt and iheartmusic.

Videos

1. Mash1982 – 61
2. iheartmusic – 38
3. funky – 25

The Video leader-board stays pretty much the same as last week, with Mash1982 at the top again, but iheartmusic and funky switching places. There’s videos to enjoy from the likes of Ray Davies to the much-hyped The xx.

Get stuck in!
